Donate to NLA
Your financial support is needed as follows to help raise the next generation of nonprofit leaders:
ALLIANCE MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE (AMI)
Students seeking to earn the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) designation are required to attend one annual Alliance Management Institute held in January. All NLA students work together to raise the funds to attend AMI. Your contribution can help pay for a couple of meals ($25), shuttle and baggage fees ($50), a night’s lodging ($75) or one-way or round-trip airfare ($200-$400).
INTERNSHIP MATCH
Nonprofit studies students and those students seeking their CNP must perform 300 hours of internship with a public or nonprofit organization.
Since most students work as well as attend classes it is helpful if their internship can offer some pay or stipend. To encourage internship sponsoring organizations to offer a stipend, NLA has created a fund to match dollar-for-dollar internship stipends paying $250 – $500 per term. This fund needs to be replenished regularly.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Various local workshops, seminars and conferences held during the academic year offer special discounts to nonprofit and NLA students to attend. Funds are often needed to pay even the reduced fees.
PIZZA
You were in school and you know it is all about food and the next meal. Your donation of $20 will provide a pizza for a NLA membership meeting or $10 will help buy drinks and desert.
